What's the best way to buy your mushrooms?

The easiest way is to come visit us at a farmers market on Saturday morning. You can also reserve a pack online for pickup, or subscribe to our weekly CSA variety box for dinner inspiration all year long.
How should I store mushrooms once I bring them home?

Keep them in the paper bag we pack them in (or a loose paper towel) inside your fridge's crisper drawer. Avoid plastic — mushrooms need to breathe. Properly stored, our mushrooms stay fresh 7–10 days.
I'm new to cooking mushrooms — where should I start?

Start with our oyster or shiitake varieties — both are forgiving, quick-cooking, and incredibly versatile. Sear them hot and dry first (no oil), then finish with olive oil, garlic, and salt. Check our daily recipe feature for ideas tailored to whatever's in season.
Are your mushrooms good meat substitutes for vegan cooking?
